Workers, community rallies for St. Boniface Post Office
On April 29, workers and members of the community gathered for a rally at the St. Boniface Post Office at 208 Provencher against a proposal by Canada Post to shut down the post office instead of retrofitting it to address concerns about accessibility. The St. Boniface Post Office has provided bilingual service and has been part of the community for over 100 years. Any attempt to shut down this historic post office would be a serious blow to Canada Post workers, users of the postal service, and the culture, heritage and linguistic identity of St. Boniface.

Come out and learn more about the experiences of Starbucks workers across North America who are organizing unions in their workplaces. Erik Forman of the Twin Cities General Membership Branch of the Industrial Workers of the World and Starbucks Workers Union will be speaking.
This public event is FREE but donations towards the SWU are greatly appreciated.
